Flock

Well being the nrrrd I am, when I read about Flock on the BBC News site, not to mention, watched the video report posted with it, I was felt the need to give it a go and that's just what I'm doing now. I loaded it onto my windows laptop and I'm using it on my mac right now.

So far I'm very impressed. They warn (repeatedly) on the site that the software is somewhere between alpha and beta, but I've yet to hit any major snags (I'm used to backspace being used as a back button and that doesn't seem to work, maybe there's a box I need to tick somewhere)

What I'd love is the intergration with other services, the blog and flickr topbars, etc. Something I'd really like to see is intergration with the t-mobile website.

I use this site send txt messages to cell phones and if there was a way of sending MMS messages, that would be even better. I'd love to be able to select web content drag it to a box and send it to a cell phone. That would be sweet.

Oh well, in the mean time, I'll play with the toys I have. I've just made it my default browser, we'll see how it handles that.
